These values make careers in the Indian Armed Forces a natural aspiration for many Rajput families. However, despite this proud heritage, the number of Rajput students successfully entering defence services today is not as high as it could be.
One of the biggest reasons is the lack of timely and accurate information. Many students are unaware of the different entry routes into the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, DRDO, and other defence organisations. Important opportunities such as NDA, CDS, AFCAT, Agniveer, Technical Entry Scheme (TES), NCC Special Entry, and SSC Technical are often missed simply because students do not know about their eligibility, application dates, or selection process.

About Indian Army NCC Special Entry
The NCC Special Entry Scheme provides NCC cadets with an opportunity to join the Indian Army as Commissioned Officers without appearing in a written examination. Eligible graduates holding a valid NCC ‘C’ Certificate can apply directly. Selection is based on shortlisting, followed by the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, medical examination, and a final merit list. Selected candidates undergo pre-commission training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
